Overview

Discover the great landscape of the Tonle Sap lake through bike tour. This is a unique small-group experience which is offering a great outdoor adventure into Siem Reap countryside and floating village whilst enjoy a sunset cruise along the river.

This tour will take you on the charming backroads in order to explore the local ways of life in Siem Reap. You will be greeted by friendly locals and get a deeper understanding of their lives and traditions.

What To Expect

Siem Reaper Travel

Get picked up in the morning and taken to Siem Reaper's office to meet your guide. Here, receive a safety briefing, learn about the itinerary for the day, and be fitted with a bicycle and helmet.

Kampong Phluk Floating Village

Then start your tour by cycling down interesting dirt roads through Siem Reap’s countryside. Along the way, your guide will take you to local farms and village activities. Learn about the everyday lives of Cambodian villagers. Stop for lunch and taste all sorts of local flavors. Enjoy fresh coconuts and lounge in a hammock. After lunch, head to the floating village of Kampong Phluk and walk around the area to explore the housing. The houses are built on stilts, adapted to withstand flooding, experienced during the rainy season. Get to know the daily life and area from your guide.

Take a boat and further discover the village life from the water. See schools, a market, and a pagoda. At the end of the day, watch the sunset on Tonle Sap Lake with some snacks and cold beverages. Return back to the city by private vehicle in the late evening.
