Great tour, very personal!

Lux is a great guide, very flexible and knowledgeable. During the tour, we release birds, roamed the markets and met with monks in the temple and had a very interesting chat. Good stuff!

Fantastic Introduction to the City and Cambodian Culture

Lux is a very knowledgeble, engaging and thoughtful guide. We met Lux just after our arrival, so he kindly gave us a brief tour of the area around our hotel (Park Hyatt which is amazing as an aside) to orient us to our immediate surroundings. We then made iur way to a more local neighborhood and passed the King’s residence, a few temples and got a monk blessing on the way. In the local neighborhood, we went to a market had a local sweet dish at a beighborhood reataurant/stand and wrapped up at the oldest temple in the city tucked away behind a monastery. The sights were cool, but the real highlight is talking to Lux and learning about Cambodian culture and history. Lux’s English is good, and he is an engaging guide that made learning interesting, even for the teenagers in our group. I would highly recommend any tour with Lux.

Amazing virtual tour – felt like we were actually there!

Such an amazing experience to have a guide taking us round Siem Reap live over Zoom. Lux was able to show us a wide variety of different places around the city (and with the help of his wife driving a moped, we covered quite a large area) – while staying connected on the video call the whole time. It was a fantastic way to get a taste of Cambodia in these days when travel is difficult – and it's also good to support the experienced and knowledgable guide while the local tourist population is so quiet – we'd want him as a guide when we get to visit for real! Thank you Lux

An Interesting Walk through Siem Reap

Great little walk through the streets of Siem Reap, and Lux was kind enough to provide a list of local restaurants the served excellent food after the tour was done. Also nice to be granted a peek into the everyday lives and spaces of the locals in this city, which as a tourist you may not even notice if you stayed within the Pub Street area.

Would recommend signing up for it if you want a break from the ruins of Angkor Wat. Lux provides a really in-depth perspective of any facet of Siem Reap you care to ask him about such as the food, urban layout and religious ceremonies. Great for those on a long stay and who want a primer of this city from someone passionate about his home.
