Join us as the Kingdom's Capital wakes up and comes to life! We think this is the best time to visit the local markets. Starting with a hotel pick up, we will head to our favorite local (you won't see any other tourists here) morning market for a guided tour, which includes your first delicious breakfast (come hungry), as well as local snacks. Expect to learn about the often under-represented food culture of Cambodia.
After breakfast, we'll forage through the streets of Phnom Penh in search of the Kingdom's finest hidden murals, and street art on a curated tour. There has been a prominent street art scene developing in the Kingdom for the past decade, part of the country's cultural renaissance. Like most things worth having, these murals are not easy to find but fear no more, we've got you covered! We head down a back alley for breakfast #2, visit over 40 different murals around the city, and visit a couple of our fav galleries. A local insight into SE Asia's fastest-growing city!
2 delicious breakfasts are included, come hungry!

It was great :)
It was a lovely tour and Sam our tour guide was great! The market we visited is certainly a very local one, and it was great to learn the local life through the tour! Def recommend if you are interested in things other than the typical spots :)
Market food and street art tour
Sam was an amazing guide. He made us feel very comfortable. There was no rush. He was very informative and friendly. Highly recommend a tour with Sam.

A fantastic introduction to PP
I can't thank Miss Lea and Urban Forage enough!
I was not sure if the tours were still happening, but after emailing for availability, Miss Ducky set me right up. Miss Lea came to pick me up with our really lovely driver, and she showed me so many places around the city. I'm so grateful for her answering all my questions, and helping me remember the names of dishes and how to order them in the future.
I did the market and art tour together. Miss Lea showed me to a local market and helped me find it again if I want to go back - and I do! - and we had breakfast and coffee and lots of snacks. Then she showed me several wonderful streets full of street art, and told me the stories behind them. Several are related to folktales or history, and I'm grateful to learn a little more about the things I've seen. We paid our respects at a Wat and she showed me around so that I can do it again as well.
Miss Lea is kind, and made sure I was comfortable and had done (and eaten!) all the things I wanted to. I'm a bit of an anxious person, and I wasn't sure if being on a solo tour was going be a little nervewracking, but Miss Lea made it easy and we ended up getting to talking. I learned a lot about history, art, food, and current events in the city. Thank you, Miss Lea, and thank you Urban Forage.
Good introduction to Cambodian Food/Markets
Candy H, 22-01-2020
We did the Morning Breakfast tour (there was not street art part).
Pros: Friendly/professional tour guide, good selection of light/breakfast foods, good introduction knowledge to the markets/local produce, huge amount of food!
Cons: Based on having done many food tours around the world, we found this tour could improve in 2 ways:
1) the tour should form relationships with the food vendors, so that a) the vendors can prepare/be ready for each tour group, and b) the tour guides get to know the vendors better and have more in depth knowledge to share about them. It was obvious that we were just walking up to all the vendors, and they didn't know the tour guide and wasn't expecting us.
2) the tour ended with a quick stop at Independence Monument, which was appreciated! It would be better if the tour guide can provide more information about the history, culture and architecture of the city during the tour (while we're walking), instead of just one quick stop for a photo.
