Bayon Temple
Once you have discovered Angkor Wat and had breakfast, you will be met with your bike. Then start the bike tour down single trails behind Angkor Wat. Follow tracks that take you through small villages in the Angkor complex, and see how the locals go about their daily lives. You will then head out to the ancient city of Angkor Thom and enter the city through the Ancient Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with elephants and Four Giant Faces. From here, continue to Bayon Temple, located in the center of the city and famed as the enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire.

3 hours • Admission Ticket Not Included

Ta Prohm Temple
Next, cycle to Ta Prohm Temple, which is your next stop before some leisure time in the late afternoon. Ta Prohm is unique in that it has been left largely as it was found overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground, creating one of the most photogenic and atmospheric temples in the entire Angkor site. After all that crawling, you will enjoy lunch with a large spread of local dishes. As the day heats up, we drive back to your hotel.

Special and unforgettable

An ultimately special and unforgettable experience. It was at times challenging riding through the puddles and mud, but most of the time we rode on flat, spacious country roads which was amazing.

The whole tour lasted from 4:30am to 4pm. Watched sunrise and covered all the main temples (Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm). The tour guide brought us to get tickets right after picking us up from hotel and just before the sunrise.

Big thank you to our tour guide (Mr Chen) who was knowledgeable, patient and had a good sense of humour.
Best tour of Angkor Wat for the money

Great guide and driver

Excellent tour! We get to enjoy both the beautiful view of the country side and the temple. The duration of the ride was just right with breakfast, snack and lunch at appropriate timing. Some part of the road condition were muddy and difficult to manage but that was also the fun part, we all enjoyed having the water and mud on the road. All food served were delicious! The driver, Marco, was extremely sweet as he waited patiently at each stations and ensured everything was ready when we arrived. Chum, our guide, always ensured our safety. Both of them are extremely polite, speak good English and make a great team! Chum knows the places/roads very well and is very knowledgeable, sharing information on the temples and cultural/history background. Highly recommended.
Angkor Wat from another angle

The sunrise trip by bike was excellent, I really enjoyed the time spent with Chum assisted by Marco today. The early wake up is worthy as we had the chance to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. The bike ride is funny and quite easy, meals and services were very satisfying. Chum is a trustful and fully trained guide, he kept everyone's attention with complete and interesting explanations not only about the temples but also about culture, history, food and geography. Definitely recommend to try a different way to visit the area. Very happy

When you go to a global tourist location, there's always a feeling of being overwhelmed with too much to do and see. At such times, I always wish there was someone who could help me get a flavor of the real country I'm in, take it at my own pace and go off the beaten track.

That is exactly what Siem Reaper does for you. With Siem Reaper, you have a wide variety of activities, customized tours, immersion in local life and experiences that stimulate the senses and the mind.

I did the Countryside Cycling Sunset Tour, Sunrise Angkor Wat and Temple Tour with off-road cycling, Evening Local Food Tour and Banteay SreySrey, Pre Rup tour with Local Home Cooking Class with them. I'll recommend all of these four to you. These tours allow you to see the architecture, learn the significance of the temples, understand the art and the rich stories they tell. The best part is that the off-road cycling involved helps you keep it fun, get some fresh air and lungs pumping and see the village life, forest beauty really closely. That brought Cambodia alive for me - and I thank Siem Reaper team for it. It's a splendid country, with kind, simple and welcoming people. The local home cooking class was one of the best experiences of this tour for me - and that's saying something for a place as rich as Siem Reap. I love to cook and this allowed me to engage with a local chef, learn the different spices and elements of their cuisine that eating in restaurants just wouldn't do.

As for the Siem Reaper team: extremely hard working, proud of their country and knowledge and keen to do all they can to make your trip fun and comfortable.
1. Customer engagement and prioritizing customer satisfaction: top marks
2. Tour guide knowledge, interactive experience and story telling: great, but can improve slightly
3. Safety, comfort and quality of equipment, cycles and food on the tour : top marks

Thank you Borith, Sreyleak for the coordination and help in customizing the tour. And deepest thanks to my guides: Phath for the Sunset Tour, Chen for the Sunrise Angkor tour and Evening Food Tour and Prathna Son for the Banteay Srey and Cooking Class Tour. Au Kun Cheraown!
