What To Expect

Banteay Srei
This morning starts your journey to explore Banteay Srei temple, 10th Century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and located 35 kilometers from Siem Reap town. Banteay Srei known as the Citadel of the women and considered the “Jewel in the crown” of all the Angkor temples. A special feature of this exquisite decoration was the use of a hard-pink sandstone where enabled the technique of sandalwood carving with even an Indian scent to it.

Banteay Samre
Next, hop on the transfer with a short drive back to discover Banteay Samre temple which is very similar to Angkor Wat temple of most of the architecture is of the classic art of the middle period. A unique feature of this beautiful temple is an interior moat with laterite paving, which when filled with water must have given an ethereal atmosphere to the temple. Return back to your hotel and balance of day at leisure.
