Beng Mealea is a unique temple built same period of Angkor Wat and it has similar lay out. Except that Beng Mealea is completely swallowed by jungle and it is untouched by people.

Koh Ker, was a briefly a capital of the Khmer Empire from 10th Century AD and it remained there for about twenty year before it returned to Angkor in the year 941AD. Dozens of temple can be visited in the area of 81 square kilometer. Prasat Thom is an imposing Pyramid temple located in central of the great city of Koh Ker to install the sacred Lingas of king Jayavarman IV.

-Beng Mealea is located about 70kms away from from Siem Reap to Southeast. built the same king of Angkor Wat temple from the 12century AD .It is untouched by people and have left original state of what it was found. It is well recommended as a MUST see temple by all previous visitors.

-Koh Ker is located to the northeast of Siem Reap 120kms from town. It is was briefly a Khmer capital from 928AD to 941AD ruled by King JayavarmanIV. dozen of temples covering in the park. it is suitable for any who would like to deal close to the nature and avoid from the tourists crowded.
