Overview

If you have a second day for a temple visit, this tour is for you. You will travel 35km through the countryside of Siem Reap to visit the well-preserved Banteay Srei Temple. The detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest, most skillfully crafted in Cambodia.

Neak Pean Temple even though it is a small temple, it is somewhat different in architecture from other main temples.

You will also see Cambodian palm sugar being made and get to try the freshly made sugar.

What To Expect

Pre Rup

After pick up from your hotel in the city, drive around 30 minutes into Angkor Archaeological Park and make first stop at Pre Rup Hindu temple built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.

Neak Pean

Neak Pean temples, an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray. Much of the temple area is flooded during the rainy season. A wooden walkway over the waters leads to the central sanctuary, which is fenced off to protect it from further decay.
