Go beyond the main temples of Angkor Archeological Site on a full-day, private excursion to Bakong, Beng Mealea and Koh Kor Temple, three spectacular ancient sites.
Traveling from Siem Reap to Koh Ker in a private, a comfortable day of sightseeing, and you’ll have the flexibility to set your own pace, with plenty of time to see the things that interest you most.Bakong temple is to be found down a sandy track, at about 1500 meters from road 6.The turning is indicated by signpost 13kilometers from siem reap town in the direction of Phnom Penh city Cambodia.

Prasat Bakong
Stap at: Prasat Bakong,Often overlooked by visitors exploring Angkor Archaeological Park, Bakong is a 5-tier temple with its own unique charm. One of the earliest temples in the region, Bakong was built within a strict geometric matrix, a style recognizable in the later Angkor Wat. The temple grounds, home to multiple freestanding satellite temples, provide a welcome break from the crowds of nearby Angkor Wat.

Boeng Mealea
Stop at: Beng Mealea, 40 km east of Angkor Wat Cambodia

Travel around 66km away from Siem Reap Center. The temple complex has never been restored and it is a fraction of the size of Angkor Wat's visitor population.
Take sometime to unwind and rest in the broad, open grounds, surrounding the temple.
Travelers can have a pleasant morning spent wandering around the temple in relative peace and quiet. If you are into photography, this also implies that you can capture some amazing shots if you go.

Koh Ker Lost Archeological Site can be found 120 kilometers northeast of Siem Reap.
Koh Ker most likely served as Jayavarman IV’s state temple when it was the capital of the whole empire (928–944 AD).

The Khmer monarch, Jayavarman IV, moved the capital to ChokGargyar, which has since become Koh Ker.
