Going to Beng Mea lea, built as a Hindu temple, is great because there are some carvings depicting Hinduism doctrine. Its primary material is sandstone and it is largely undestroyed, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps.
We visit Koh Ke temple, a remote archaeological site in northern Cambodia. It is a very jungle filled region that is sparsely populated. More than 180 sanctuaries were found in a protected area of 81 square kilometers (31 sq mi).
Second day we go to Preh Vihear temple, an ancient Hindu temple built during the reign of the Khmer Empire, that is situated atop a 525-metre cliff in the Dengrek mountain. In 1962, following a lengthy dispute between Thailand and Cambodia over ownership, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague ruled that the temple is in Cambodia. After that, we visit Ta Mok’s house and Pol Pot’s grave, a former leader of Khmer Rough, in Anlong Veng district.
