What To Expect

Siem Reap
Siem Reap (literally 'Thais Defeated') is the gateway to Angkor Wat and the greatest ancient temples in the world. It's a vibrant, colourful town filled with culture and popular with travellers. Visit the 'floating villages' on the Tonle Sap, bike around the stunning temples in the Angkor region, gasp at the awesome Phare theatre, and watch the famous Apsara dancers. Siem Reap is a cultural delight.

Battambang
Battambang is famous for its French colonial architecture, which is some of the best-preserved in Cambodia. However, the town dates back to the 11th century and the height of the Angkor empire. It is a major rice-producing area and the main gateway to Thailand.

Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh was founded to succeed Angkor Thom as the capital of the Khmer empire in the 15th century, as the Angkor region was repeatedly falling prey to invasions from neighbouring nations. It has grown to be the cultural and administrative centre of Cambodia, with more than two million people calling it home. Completely abandoned during the Khmer Rouge era, it is now arguably the most exciting place for nightlife and culture in Cambodia.
