What To Expect

Chong Kneas Floating Village
This tour will start with a visit to Chong Kneas. We'll drive out to Chong Kneas which is only around 30 minutes from Siem Reap town. Along the way, on the we will stop at lotus farm, local market to see fresh water fishes and vegetables from Tonle Sap lake . We will also stop at a village on land to see stilted houses before heading to take boat to the floating village. The village consists of hundreds of families which are ethnic Khmer and Vietnamese. They make their living from fishing, farming, shops and tourism. On the land, you'll see how the houses sit on top of tall stilts. On the water, the houses float on the water. There are also shops, a school, restaurants, fish farms and a crocodile farm. There are also flooded forest which you can visit. The area is visited all year round.
We will drive back to city to visit other attractions. Our tour guide will discuss will to pick out places you intereste.

Phsar Leu Thom Thmey
Biggest local market in Siem Reap city where locals go shopping everyday.

We'll then go to the War Museum where you can see some of the weapons and vehicles used during the Khmer Rouge and the subsequent civil war which lasted for for nearly two decades.

When we get back to Siem Reap town, you'll stop for lunch and then the tour will continue with a visit to the Angkor National Museum. Here, you can see ancient artefacts from the pre, during and after the Angkorian period.
